Tasha Lockhart

Tasha Lockhart is the winner of this year’s Sunday Best. She will receive a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul Entertainment, a cash prize and a 2013 Ford Fusion.
On the final show, Wess Morgan sang his single “You Paid it All”, other performances were from artistes like Mali Music, “Ready Aim”, Tamela Mann also sang “Take Me to the King”. Cece Winans sang “More” and Israel Houghton sang “No Turning Back“.
The two finalists Kefia and Tasha also sang. Kefia sang ” How Great is Our God ” by Chris Tomlin and Tasha  sang “You Bring Out the Best in Me” by Vanessa Bell Amstrong.
Tasha Lockhart was finally announced to be Season 6 Sunday Best winner and she ended the show with the song “United by Faith”. It was an amazing and competitive journey for all the contestants, especially for Kefia and Tasha because both of them are anointed and powerful singers.

Starting this October 2013, tens of thousands of dreamers of Africa Descent from across the world will audition for a shot at the African Limelight. The show’s judges will travel across world round in search for AFRICA’S BEST. The competitors will be narrowed to a select group of semifinalists who will sing their hearts out each week in front of a studio audience and television viewers.

The judges (Multiple award-winning gospel musician SONNIE BADU, etc) have their say after every performance, but the final say goes to the public, who will ultimately Call in, Text Message, and Vote Online to determine who will advance to each following round, and who will go home. The Results for each competition sessions will be announced during the following night’s broadcast.
