Philip George  is bringing AFRICA’S BEST!!!  Philip George is a renowned producer, artist, music director, vocal coach . Africa’s Best is an opportunity for the would-be-gospel artiste  to win $10,000.00 in cash, a recording deal and more.
Africa’s Best Audition will be starting this Fall 2013 in Philadelphia, New York, DC, Maryland, Chicago, Dallas and Houston.
 Contestants will be auditioning and will be narrowed to a selected semifinalists who will sing out their heart in front of studio audiences and television viewers. The judges e.g Sonnie Badu will comment after each performance but the public determine the final outcome .
Philip George has worked with artists including Juanita Bynum, Ron Kenoly, Maysa, Bishop Tudor Bismark, Kirk Whalum, Kingsley Ike, Sammie Okposo, Juanita Contee, Hope Davies, Sonnie Badu, Segun Obe, Uche Agu, Midnight Crew, Lara George, etc.

Starting this October 2013, tens of thousands of dreamers of Africa Descent from across the world will audition for a shot at the African Limelight. The show’s judges will travel across world round in search for AFRICA’S BEST. The competitors will be narrowed to a select group of semifinalists who will sing their hearts out each week in front of a studio audience and television viewers.

The judges (Multiple award-winning gospel musician SONNIE BADU, etc) have their say after every performance, but the final say goes to the public, who will ultimately Call in, Text Message, and Vote Online to determine who will advance to each following round, and who will go home. The Results for each competition sessions will be announced during the following night’s broadcast.

As the competitors will all be narrowed down to the last two finalists, they will sing it out to win a huge recording deal, cash prices and the ultimate title of AFRICA’S BEST – which will be sure to spark publicity in households around the world.

Sunday Best Finalists – Kefia and Tasha….

Sunday Best is a gospel TV show on BET that gives anointed and gifted singers the opportunity to show case their talents.  SUNDAY BEST takes auditions in cities in America and top contestants are privileged to be mentored and coached by experienced gospel artistes. The winner of Sunday Best this year (Season 6) will get a brand new Ford Fusion, a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul/RCA Records and a cash prize.
Last week on Sunday Best, Kefia and Tasha gave their bests at the competition and it was really tight…hmm, who do you think will win tomorrow?
